Privacy Policy

EU Withdrawal & Cancellations (“the app”) helps Shopify merchants offer an EU-compliant withdrawal function. This page describes what data the app processes.

Data we store

• Per-shop settings, including the merchant’s SMTP credentials (the password is encrypted at rest).
• Withdrawal/cancellation requests submitted by shoppers: name, email, order number, and the text they enter.

How it’s used

Request data is used solely to record the request, email a confirmation to the shopper, and notify the merchant. The app never shares data with third parties beyond the merchant’s own SMTP provider.

Retention & deletion

We honour Shopify’s GDPR webhooks. On a customer redaction request we delete that customer’s requests; on app uninstall + shop redaction we delete all data for the shop.
